PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 2010 – Anong habol mo? This Saturday, runners will experience the rare combination of a night run, rock and drinks–precisely in that order–at the Adobo Run:After Dark at McKinley Hill, Taguig City at 6pm.
Reggae, dance rock and indie punk are only a few of the musical genres that will be heard at the Adobo Run: After Dark after-run party. Playing under the Lakihan Mo Logo banner are ad agency bands Milagros Dancehall Collective (Dentsu Indio/BBDO), Gorgoro (Leo Burnett), Halik ni Gringo (DM9/Publicis/Lowe), The Discoball (McCann/J. Romero), Pasok mga Bwitre (Saatchi/BBDO/Ogilvy) and Shoulderstate (McCann/Lowe). Guest bands Pedicab, Franco, Billy Gaga and Tanya Markova lend their radio-friendly tunes to the event. Ogilvy’s DJ James Bernardo will provide warm-up music and his brand of spin till late.
To finish off the Halloween treat, Limbo Bar will serve free San Miguel Super Dry, Cerveza Negra and Premium Beer at the after-run party and bazaar. The Adobo Run: After Dark has 3k, 5k, and 10k routes. Registration is at P600 per person, with a special 10+1 group package: one free registrant for every ten who register as a group. Prizes will be given to the biggest contingent, and for best in costume, single and group.
