Lowe China promotes Norman Tan to vice chairman/chief creative officer

ASIA-PACIFIC – CHINA, JULY15, 2013 – Lowe China has promoted Norman Tan to vice chairman/chief creative officer. Together with Lowe China chairman/chief executive officer Kitty Lun and the rest of the leadership team, Tan is tasked to bring the agency to new heights while he continues to oversee the creative outputs of Lowe in China and Hong Kong.

“Norman’s relentless drive in our creative output is significant, impacting on our performance in local and international creative award shows. A vivid example is our two shortlists this year in the toughest Cannes Film category. Norman is also instrumental in our multiple wins of new businesses, from cognac to cars, from e-Commerce to beer, and much much more. We are in a growth phase now. We’ve got good momentum.,” commented Lun.

Tan has joined Lowe China since 2010 and has been serving as the chief creative officer for more than three and half years. He is also a member of Lowe’s global creative council, wherein they are tasked to improve the agency’s creativity of the agency.

Prior to Lowe, he held senior creative roles at Bates Asia, across Asia-Pacific, Grey Group, Leo Burnett and JWT. He handled leading international brands across Asia-Pacific, including Heineken, Shell, Nokia and McDonald’s. Tan won over 300 creative awards and often serves as jury member at major awards shows.
